Material Description:
1.4529 (UNS N08926) has very high resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in halide media and sulfur-containing acidic environments, effectively resisting chloride ion stress corrosion. It also has good corrosion resistance in oxidizing and reducing media, with good stability and slightly better mechanical properties than 904L. It can be used for pressure vessel manufacturing from -196 to 400 ºC.
Typical operating conditions: 60% sulfuric acid, below 80 ºC, annual corrosion rate<0.1mm
